Live Rain Radar for Budva, Budva Municipality

← Budva Municipality, Montenegro

Budva, one of Montenegro’s most popular coastal resort towns, receives around 1,600 mm (about 63 inches) of rain a year, concentrated heavily in autumn and winter with a long, dry, tourist-season summer along the Adriatic. Intense autumn storms can bring torrential short-term rainfall after months of essentially no rain, sometimes overwhelming the old town’s narrow streets and drainage. Because so much of the local economy depends on summer beach tourism, sudden shifts in weather during the shoulder seasons matter significantly for visitors and businesses alike. Radar tracking is a genuinely practical tool here given how quickly conditions can change. Montenegro’s Hydrometeorological Service operates the national radar network.
