Faridabad sits just south of Delhi in the National Capital Region and shares much of the capital’s monsoon timing, with most rainfall concentrated between July and September. As a heavily industrialized satellite city, drainage infrastructure in older sections has struggled to keep pace with rapid growth, and intense monsoon cloudbursts can produce localized flooding on key roads linking the city to Delhi.
