Live Rain Radar for Eindhoven, North Brabant

← North Brabant, Netherlands

Eindhoven, in the southern Netherlands, receives around 820 mm (about 32 inches) of rain a year, distributed fairly evenly through the seasons with a modest summer peak from convective thunderstorms. Being further inland and south than the coastal Dutch cities, it sees slightly fewer direct Atlantic frontal passages but still experiences the same general pattern of frequent, moderate rain typical of the Low Countries. As a major technology hub, the city has invested in modern urban drainage designed with climate resilience in mind. Short summer storms can still occasionally overwhelm specific low-lying spots. Because rain here tends to be frequent but generally manageable, radar is mainly useful for timing outdoor plans around passing showers. KNMI operates the national weather radar network.
